Amerant Bank hosted a Christmas event with a special visit from the real Santa Claus himself who came to drop off the official North Pole Mailbox.

During the holiday celebration, children got the opportunity to take pictures with Santa, listen to Christmas carolers and write letters to Santa and place them in the official “North Pole Mailbox.” While there, Santa also withdrew funds from his Amerant Bank account and started handing out Santa dollars to all guests.

“We are so happy to have the real Santa stop by our bank to deliver the official mailbox himself and gather with us to celebrate,” said, Silvia Larrieu, head of communications and affinity partnerships for Amerant. “This was really the perfect way for us to start the holiday season and help spread some joy and holiday cheer with the community.”

The “North Pole Mailbox” is currently in the main lobby of Amerant Bank’s headquarters, located at 220 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables and will remain there until December 24th. Children and families are welcome to drop off their letters to Santa until then, although, it is recommended to place letters in the mailbox by Dec. 10th, to receive a response in time for Christmas.
